Accommodation: IIt is an inclusive, open plan school for potentially 700 pupils.

 

 The school layout is as follows:

Three teaching units - Blue, Green and Red.

 Yellow Unit for Special Educational Needs.

Green Unit has 5 classes from P1, P1 / 2 & P2

Blue Unit has 6 classes of P3, P4 & P5

Red Unit has 6 classes of P5/6, P6, P6/7 & P7

An 80 place nursery

A games hall.

A dining/general purpose hall.

A studio used for music and drama.

A library which also houses our computer suite.

 

Class size: In the Early Stages the class size is limited to 30 pupils maximum although at the time of writing most classes in the department stand at the mid to high twenties.  At stages

P4 - 7 the classes are limited to 33.  Nursery classes consist of 20 pupils.

 

Location:  

Cults Primary School is on the western periphery of Aberdeen.

 

Provision:  

It is a Community Education School for the Cults and Bieldside areas of Aberdeen Authority. It provides two years of Nursery and seven years of Primary Education, after which pupils normally transfer to Cults Academy, the designated school for Secondary Education.
